Characteristics
There are Titanium dioxide, Zinc oxide, Cerium oxide, Iron oxide, Zirconium oxide in the inorganic ultraviolet rays intercepting materials, and of these Titanium dioxide is most widely used. They are widely effective for intercepting ultraviolet rays and they do not deteriorate easily. They also have few problems about skin irritation as they are not absorbed into the skin.
As Titanium dioxide, which is most representative inorganic ultraviolet rays intercepting materials, has a strong cohesion mutually, we can have some problems about safety of cosmetic formulation or dispersion if we apply them to products. To solve these problems and improve the rough feeling of Titanium dioxide particles, we developed a new product that weaken magnetism among themselves and at the same time show the soft feeling of using by coating 10 nm-sized minute particles on the surface of Titanium dioxide, whose mean particle size is 0.2∼0.5µm.
