Amino acids and their derivatives are employed as a raw material in cosmetic compositions. They exhibit many desirable properties in that they do not irrate the skin, protect the skin in pollution, have excellent feeling to the skin and so on.
However, due to the water-soluble characteristic of amino acids & their derivatives's inherent properties, their applications to the cosmetic compositions are restricted. To overcome above the restrictions, BO-KWANG developed the amino acids & their derivatives coated powders on the surface of Sericite, Mica, Talc, Silica, and other with show very hydrophobic and many desirable properties of amino acids & their derivatives in cosmetic compositions. We really would like to recommend our customers to apply above the powders for a functional filler in cosmetic compositions.
This treatment is particularly suited for use in liquid make-ups. Besides the hydrophobicity which helps improve makeup adhesion and wear, the slight acidity resulting from the treatment renders colors and substrates more compatible with the pH of human skin. Pigment thus treated help preserve the delicate chemistry of the skin? surface by maintaining the sebum layer and suppressing bacterial growth.
